United Kingdom

At the Heart of Scotland’s Thriving Improv Scene

We believe in growing the improv community, in Edinburgh, and beyond - the more improv, the better for us all. We do this through upskilling and educating ourselves, our audiences, and the community, with courses, shows, festivals, jams, and more. Improv is more than just games, it’s the lens through which we drive inclusiveness and support.

Absolutely everyone is welcome, always.

Calum Jarvie
Performer

Calum has been performing improv since 2022 after he stumbled across an improv class in order to get better at stand up comedy. He has been refining his comedy skills with training and writing in Scotland and LA since 2020. Calum enjoys big characters, connecting with his scene partners, playing with emotion and having his ears gently tickled.

Gregor Davidson
Performer, Lead Trainer

Gregor is a professional classically educated actor who has honed his craft and worked all over the UK. His performance range spans everything from Shakespeare's protagonists to "that background tree". He brings an inclusive and kind nature to teaching and you will leave every class with an a-ha moment!

Marijke Cortenbach
Visiting Performer

Marijke Cortenbach is an improv comedian from the Netherlands living in Scotland. She is a member of many improv troupes in Edinburgh, and is a regular performer at the Fringe. Marijke also hosts the Big Friendly improv jam. Outside of improv she works in travel, gets arty and loves pillaging charity shops.
