At the Forefront of Hong Kong’s Improv Community
At TBC Improv HK, we're all about fueling Hong Kong's vibrant improv scene. We believe that the more improv, the richer our community becomes. We're dedicated to helping improvisers of all levels hone their skills and share the joy of spontaneous creation through a diverse range of courses, captivating shows, lively jams, and much more. For us, improv is more than just games; it's a powerful way to foster inclusivity and build a truly supportive community.
Absolutely everyone is welcome, always.

Hong Kong Team
Ben Margalith
Director, HK
Ben is passionate about improv, performance, and connecting through creativity. His goal is to have fun and engage with others empathically through improv.

Isobel McKenzie
Performer, Lead Trainer
Isobel is relentless funshine. She’s also a writer, editor and improviser! Her favourite thing about improv is that it gives you the chance to take small ideas and make them big, to have fun pushing yourself out of your comfort zone in a safe space.

Sanjaya Bharti
Social Media
Sanjaya is a storyteller at heart, with a curious interest for decoding social media trends (brainrot is real…yikes). Currently, she brings her creative flair to the socials for TBC Improv Hong Kong, and she hopes to create content that reflects the magic of improv performance.

Davina Carrette
Performer
Davina is a multi disciplinary and international artist. They also run Treasure Chest Theatre which tours internationally and co-curate the family stage at Clockenflap.

Jem Reynaud
Band
Jem plays the piano using his fingers, primarily focusing on the white keys. He speaks with a pronounced French accent, making it difficult for others to understand him.

Talia Scotchbrook-Chow
Performer
Eurasian, multilingual, and raised in Hong Kong, Talia has been goofing around since she was born. Committed to raising the Global Endorphin Index in this post-COVID world, she has now realised her true self with improv, and has formally become an Official Goof™️ with TBC.

Glen Lloyd
Performer, Trainer
Glen is a voice artist from Australia, whose smooth voice has featured in TV broadcasts, adverts, toys, ebooks, and more. Also an avant-garde multi-instrumentalist musician for his one-man band; the crazy and cacophonous JUNK!.

Kent Foran
Band
Kent is a musician, writer and photographer from Canada. He likes making and hearing noises. He finds loud or clanging noises to be the most exciting, but if a noise happens to be less loud, that's completely fine. He is generally well-regarded in the community.

Tina Arcilla
Band
Tina is the band member who speaks the least French. She is a drummer who dislikes loud sounds but likes inflicting it on others. She also admits to designing graphics for TBC HK.

Isaac Droscha
Director, HK
Isaac believes in the power of “yes, and…” in all aspects of life and how it can lead to transformational experiences and explosions of creativity and productivity.

Logan Stratman
Performer, Trainer
Logan is the human version of an imaginary friend. He lives in a world of improv and storytelling and is always looking for ways to “yes and” those around him.

Our Hong Kong Story
In 2014, the TBC Improv journey expanded to Asia, with the founding of TBC Improv HK in Hong Kong. From the outset, we've been dedicated to being a driving force in a thriving English-language improv scene in this dynamic city. As in our other locations, we offer a lively mix of jams, classes, shows, and corporate training, cultivating a community where creativity and connection flourish.
Memory lane...
We've kept a collection of posters from our past shows. Have a favourite show we should reboot? Let us know!
